Honkai: Star Rail: From Mortal to God

[Lovecraftian elements] [One heroine: Tingyun] [Original Paths]

(The original Paths aren’t just there to give the protagonist cheats. They’ll reasonably strengthen all the characters, leading to a major event much later in the story.)

Mo Bai transmigrated into the Honkai: Star Rail universe, where he found a mysterious guidebook and a prophecy waiting for him:

[The Aeons will die, the Paths will collapse, abominations will rise, and the eldritch will endure forever.]

[Everyone will die, except you.]

He nearly died at Aha’s hands the moment he transmigrated. Then he discovered that the original host belonged to an organization that had never appeared in Honkai: Star Rail. Worse still, the host had already prepared to move on to a new place and carry out the organization’s mission, even going so far as to threaten Tingyun into taking him to the mission site.

With no choice, Mo Bai had to stick to the host’s plan. He soon discovered that unheard-of aberrant monsters were appearing throughout the universe. After encountering one aberration after another, Mo Bai could only keep advancing along the Path of Space and Time left behind by a fellow transmigrator in order to survive.

But the further things went, the more Mo Bai felt that something was wrong. Why had everyone else been secretly getting stronger too?

Tingyun became the strongest beneath the Aeons. With a single ultimate, Stelle transformed into a half-eldritch powerhouse and smashed her way through the universe. Firefly made endless copies of the SAM army…

When the great calamity finally arrived, Mo Bai at last ascended the divine throne. Only after he was trapped upon it did he see the second half of the prophecy:

[Stride across the universe, suppress the alien gods, become eternity, and let space and time endure forever.]

[Everyone will finally be free, except you.]

“Oh no, I’ve become the Yellow Peril!”
