A fanfic based on "Lurk".
When "Lurk" was all the rage, I was busy with school. I watched a few episodes here and there, still in that clueless teenage phase, and couldn't understand why I disliked the male lead but liked the male supporting character whose loyalties were misplaced.
Later, when I had some free time, I finished watching all of "Lurk" and visited its long-quiet Tieba forum, where I read lots of fanfiction. That's when I discovered I wasn't the only one who wanted to marry Captain Li. Plenty of other people did, too.
Recently, a few videos suddenly came up in my feed, so I watched "Lurk" again and dug out a fanfic I'd started years ago, copying others, but had only written an opening for. Because of work, I've been writing on and off. After a long hiatus, I found out people were reading it. I was happy, and also very sorry.
As long as the story isn't finished, I should keep writing it. I just can't promise when. I'll try to update regularly for now. Wish me luck.
It's just that Li Ya is still the same Li Ya from the show, while I'm no longer the person I was ten years ago.
