In the twenty-second or twenty-third century, delivery driver Zhang Xiang gets into a road accident on his way home and transmigrates to the primeval world of the Classic of Mountains and Seas. He helps the ancient beastfolk learn how to eat cooked food and teaches them to make fire and cook. The female lead also transmigrates to the ancient world of the Classic of Mountains and Seas. Together, the man and woman help the beastfolk stop eating raw food and teach them to wear clothes, boil water, and cook. But another group of beastfolk refuses to accept this and comes to seize the cooked food, and the two sides break into a fight.
