You Were Supposed to Heal People, Not Fight the King of Hell for Them!

For eighteen generations, his ancestors have practiced medicine, treating the sick and saving lives, and amassed immeasurable merit.

Modern medicine has advanced, and traditional Chinese medicine has fallen into decline.

Zhang Yu tends his ancestral clinic, but it stands nearly empty.

At last, his vast store of merit forms a golden wheel.

Zhang Yu is hit by a car and dies, on the verge of ascending to immortality.

But he still has unfinished business and cannot bear to leave the mortal world.

He discovers by chance that his own merit is so immense he can bribe every official in the underworld, high or low.

So he bribes his way back to the mortal realm.

The King of Hell allows him to live out his days in the human world, die a natural death, and then ascend to immortality.

After coming back to life, he finds that his old clinic has been selected for a live show about exploring the mysteries of traditional Chinese medicine in Great Xia and passing on its culture.

What's more, a fire and explosion break out on the street next to the clinic. Four brave firefighters are critically injured and brought to Zhang Yu's clinic for emergency treatment.

Faced with these people's heroes, Zhang Yu makes a bold move on a nationwide live broadcast.

He promotes the culture of traditional Chinese medicine and reveals its wonders.

But the men are already dead. Nothing can be done.

With no other choice, Zhang Yu returns to the underworld and slaps the King of Hell's desk.

“I want these four men. Not even Jesus can take them away. That's final!”

The King of Hell says, “This is my jurisdiction. Jesus has nothing to do with it. A hundred merit points per person, and you can take them!”

When the four firefighter heroes return from the dead, the whole country is stunned.

“Incredible! Our Great Xia traditional medicine can bring the dead back to life!”
