The Fragrance of a Concubine-Born Daughter

Chen Xianghan, a girl from the Han dynasty, lost her birth mother when she was young. Her mother was framed by the mistress of the household for having an affair and died as a result.

Her father despised her and drove her out of the residence, leaving her to fend for herself in a mountain village.

Fortunately, she met the father of Su Changyu, a martial artist, who taught her martial arts and reading from childhood as she grew up.

After Chen Xianghan came of age, she confirmed that her birth mother had been murdered by the mistress of the household. Determined to avenge her, she plotted to return to the Chen residence.

Back at the Chen residence, she fought the mistress openly and covertly. She also met Liu Zhuang, a man who loved her faithfully. But when Chen Xianghan learned that Liu Zhuang’s men had arranged the murder of the man she had long admired, she came to hate him.
