Eternal Night Star River: Southbound, Never to Return

(The canon couples stay together + original heroine + both sweet and angsty) The heroine has a rather detached personality. No need for warnings about things you dislike. She died again, but this time she woke up quickly. There were faint red marks on her neck. Glancing outside, she saw that all was silent. She drifted off to sleep once more, falling asleep just as quickly as she always did. A racket of noise assaulted her ears. Three seconds later, she had a tiger in her left hand and a fox in her right. “Are you two feeling unwell again...? Don’t worry, let me treat you.” The air around them grew several degrees colder. The white-and-blue tiger tried to regain its composure. “W-we’re protecting our master!” “...Really?” “Really... That’s it. I saw how hard our master works to look after us, so I thought...” The little tiger looked as though it wanted to wipe away nonexistent sweat. “Is what he said true?” She looked toward the little fox, who had remained silent. Those two were the rowdiest creatures in the whole valley... “...” “Both of you, get out...” “No, please! Master, I’m sorry...” “Who was supposed to survive? Was it Nanxi or Nangui? It should have been...” She just felt so, so tired. “I’ll go see how your disciple is doing with the mission... You old geezer.” A junior sister who suddenly appeared? Or just a lone demon hunter? Her identity was hard to explain, but there was no way to pin anything on her... Musheng hated Liu Fuyi, and he hated her, too. “I hope that when I see you again, you’ll have changed your mind and come back with me, Chu Yan.” A shadow appeared, then vanished.
