The story takes place in 1931 during the Republic of China, coinciding with the September 18th Incident.
On the eve of the war, Chinese society was in turmoil, foreign enemies invaded, and civil strife broke out frequently. Lin Wan was reborn and returned to this darkest and humiliating era with the "Wanjie Trading System" carrying a large amount of materials in the space. She thought she had to do something and find her own faith in this complicated situation.
