The Overworked Wage Slave’s Ascension

The following may be the final fantasy of an overworked office worker just before dying from exhaustion.

“Emperor Mu met the Queen Mother of the West, and the Great Zhou Immortal Court ascended to immortality as one. With their long lifespans and overwhelming power, the Great Zhou royal family reigned supreme in the immortal realm for tens of thousands of years. Faced with an insurmountable gulf in strength, the ancient, outdated system of feudal slavery remained unchanged for generations...

...As Lu Yan gazed at the majestic Mohou Immortal City, he suddenly realized this was not the world of the pre-Qin philosophers he had learned about in school. Before him was the contention of a hundred schools of thought, suppressed and smoldering for tens of thousands of years beneath the cultivation civilization, now finally bursting forth. In this world, the ideas of each school had been put into practice across countless feudal states, large and small, and honed over a long history. Now they were finally nearing maturity, ready to break through the earth!

This was the final judgment passed by the ancient sages upon ten thousand generations of oppression. The ideas of the hundred schools had evolved and taken shape through the long river of history, at last converging in this age for a decisive blow that would surely prevail.”

When Lu Yan once again faced fate alone, he smiled calmly, no longer lost.

“How could I spend this life as a beast of burden?”
