In the southeastern part of the Xianwu Continent lies a border town called Guzhou City. The city is home to four great families: the Zhang, Tao, Zhou, and Liu families. Li Jian, the original owner of the body, and his mother, Madam Zhou, depended on his maternal grandfather's Zhou family. In the struggle among the great families, Li Jian became a sacrificial pawn. He was beaten to death, and his body was thrown into the Guzhou River.
Workaholic Li Jian wanted to earn enough to pay his mortgage. He set a record by working twenty hours a day for thirty consecutive days, and eventually died from exhaustion. He then transmigrated into the body of the original Li Jian on the Xianwu Continent.
During a mission, the Zhou family's merchant convoy was robbed. With his second cousin Zhou Dequan's life or death unknown, Li Jian fled into the mountains. There, he activated the School-Founding System and obtained a disguise technique. Disguised, he escaped to the neighboring city of Lizhou, where he opened the Sanwei Bookhouse Academy and became its headmaster.
With the System providing abundant resources, Sanwei Bookhouse Academy flourished, and Li Jian's strength advanced by leaps and bounds as he began to reach the peak of his life...
The road ahead is long and arduous, but I will search high and low. Amid the chaos of the Xianwu Continent, Sanwei Bookhouse is like a solitary boat, and Headmaster Li is its lone boatman, pushing off with his pole and sailing upstream...
The author is a long-time fan of fantasy, fairy tales, and novels. The novels I have read or heard in the past all seem to be low-key and stoic. In fact, the protagonist is always high-profile and commits suicide everywhere, so I want to try to write a real Gou Dao work.
