Ling Xiaobei and Chen Limin were childhood sweethearts, but a family upheaval separated them when they were young. More than a decade later, the grown-up Ling Xiaobei, now known as Ling Xiamo, meets Chen Limin again. He has lost his memory and goes by Xiao Yunyan. Though Xiao Yunyan has no memories, he falls in love with Ling Xiamo at first sight. But after a major family upheaval, Ling Xiamo has become timid and insecure, and repeatedly pushes Xiao Yunyan away. He pursues her relentlessly. Just as their relationship begins to grow closer, Xiao Yunyan regains his memory and recalls their childhood. The grudges between their fathers plunge their relationship into crisis once again.
