I Stole a Bite of Her Candy

[Campus romance + healing + devoted couple + reunion after years apart]

[Cool, tearful tough girl × secretly lovesick, bad-boy heartthrob]

At a class reunion.

“Of course I was the one who pursued her. She was so hard to win over. I chased her three times, all told.” Jiang Yan's voice was hoarse. His roguish smile grew as he recalled the past, as if he were up to something.

Wen Yan said nothing, just smiled along with him.

Everyone thought Jiang Yan had pursued her. The truth was, she'd planned it all long ago, patiently waiting for him to become addicted to her.

Scene One:

“Ah Yan...” Taking advantage of the brief moment when he'd eased up, Wen Yan finally managed to say his name, her voice trembling with confusion.

Hearing her murmur, Jiang Yan didn't stop. He kissed her even more fiercely.

Scene Two:

“What, ” Before she could finish, Jiang Yan pinned her against the car and kissed her.

Wen Yan clenched her teeth, but Jiang Yan gripped her cheeks, forcing his way in.

“You've stolen so much of my candy. You can pay me back with yourself,” Jiang Yan teased, all casual nonchalance.

“Would a lifetime be enough?” Wen Yan stopped pretending to be strong, threw herself into Jiang Yan's arms, and let her guard down at last.
