[Double heroines + redemption + HE]
Every day after school, Yue Xiyang would always walk into the milk tea shop hidden on the corner of the street. Order a cup of warm taro milk tea, sit by the window, let the sweet fragrance melt between your lips and teeth, and your eyes unconsciously pass through the glass and fall on the flower shop opposite.
The wind chimes tinkled at the door of the flower shop, and a girl shuttled among the flowers. When she bends down to arrange the roses, her hair will fall down beside her face; when she stands on tiptoe to reach the high gypsophila, her skirt will rise slightly.
I heard people say that she is heartless and seems to always live in the sunshine.
[Gentle and considerate Xiang Weiliang✕Straightforward and male-hating Yue Xiyang]

"Slightly Bright and Sunny" is like a cup of taro milk tea held in the palm of your hand in winter, warm and dense but also filled with the sweetness of a girl's thoughts. The author uses brushstrokes so delicate that they are almost hair-like to weave a gentle resonance that goes in both directions - the gaze at the window of the milk tea shop and the gentle trembling of the wind chimes in the flower shop collide on the urban street corner, creating a palpitation lighter than spring pollen. Yue Xiyang's "restraint" and the nameless girl's "willfulness" form a wonderful mirror image: one uses the temperature of taro milk tea to measure his heartbeat, and the other uses the stardust of the sky to shake off the light. The moments when hair falls and the curvature of skirts are written into silent lines of poetry, allowing the "heartless" brilliance and "cautious" watch to grow like a vine-like tension inside and outside the glass window. This is not a cliche "redemption" narrative, but two clusters of glimmers of light recognizing the vibration frequency of each other's souls in the hustle and bustle of the world. When the fragrance of taro meets the fragrance of flowers, even the dust at dusk becomes a witness. The best thing is the story's interpretation of "everyday epic" - the repeated scenery on the way to school, the water droplets condensed on the walls of the milk tea cup, and the daily changing fragrance on the flower stand are all endowed with divinity. In this story of two heroines, love is not a storm, but a coronation ceremony in which two girls crown each other with their eyes. When modern romance breaks out of the gender framework, we finally see that the recognition of souls can be so clear and majestic. Looking forward to reading on!
For those of you who have read this novel, maybe it's because of the beautiful cover or the tag of dual heroines, but I'm very grateful to you regardless. I don't understand the meaning of the dual heroines on the label, so this novel is written according to my understanding. The daily stories of the two heroines, from school to the workplace, they may be people on two parallel lines but they intersect because of certain things. They are the protagonists in each other's lives. They both shine with light, whether it is the dazzling and public sunshine of Yue Xiyang, or the careful, gentle and warm light of Xiang Weiliang, they can illuminate people from the darkness and no longer be confused.
I was attracted to it from the beginning, and I really like Yue Xiyang's character! The writing is also amazing!
