I personally think this story is quite good... The interaction between children and old monsters who are dozens or hundreds of years old... It's quite cute.
I originally thought it might be more of an everyday style? (The first few chapters are indeed true.) However, the following chapters do seem a bit messy and lengthy in terms of time and narrative (?) Maybe I read them all at once and swallowed them all. By the way, Bian Chen is so miserable. He has encountered so many things in the past month, and he has been pushed (almost) away.
Background and so on, after all, there is a gap of hundreds of years from the oldest one. These things cannot be explained at once. . . It would be a very, very long article to clarify the background, and it would be difficult for everyone to agree on. I can only say that as a reader, there is indeed room for improvement... (Whisper)
