[Entertainment Industry + One-on-One Romance]
Shiman is driven to desperation by her cheating scumbag boyfriend. To get away from him, she accepts an invitation from the wealthy family that once raised her by mistake for a year and goes to stay with them.
The elders of the family tell her to choose one of their many young men.
Shiman looks them over and picks the one who seems laziest, thinking it won't hurt anyone.
She has no idea that he is the head of the family.
For a moment, Shiman is dazzled and thinks she might actually have a chance of marrying into a wealthy family.
But the games of the rich are never that simple.
In the end, she backs out.
She thinks ordinary people's love is cheap, and so is sincerity. Neither can withstand the attentions of the rich, and she should not let herself dream too much.
She has to shut her heart away to keep from getting hurt.
Until the man, always so refined and self-possessed, grips her shoulders and asks, “Can't you forget him and look at me? Look at me.”
Shiman comes to her senses. “You're overacting.”
The man glances at the script and asks, “So, do you love him or me?”
