[Ten-year age gap, working-class girl and rich boy (This story was abandoned, scrapped, and eventually completed)]
After graduating from high school, Bai Yishan gets a job as a cashier at Xike Billiards. By chance, Yin Zechen, one of the billiard hall’s owners, takes her on as an apprentice, and she starts learning the game from scratch. He patiently teaches her and quietly supports her whenever she runs into trouble. She works hard in return, going from a complete beginner to a capable assistant coach.
When her younger brother suddenly falls ill and needs surgery, Bai Yishan quits to raise money and takes a higher-paying job at Xingguang Billiards. But the cold atmosphere and difficult customers make her uncomfortable. When she learns that Xike is still hoping she’ll come back, she promptly returns, earns a promotion to manager through her own ability, and finally recognizes her feelings for Yin Zechen.
The two cross the line between teacher and student and, after facing outside offers and inner turmoil, choose each other and confirm their relationship. At last, in Room 10, which holds countless memories, Yin Zechen proposes, and they hold their wedding at Xike. Bai Yishan not only transforms her career but also finds a love that grows from quiet devotion into a lifelong partnership, a story of an ordinary girl finding happiness after hardship through the warmth of having someone by her side.
