I don't have much time lately, so I just take the time to watch it intermittently. Although the author's writing style is a bit old-fashioned, the plot is not the kind that directly describes the affairs between men and women. But as I get to the end, I can sympathize more with the characters in the book. I seem to have felt a strong undertone of sadness [I almost cried] and am looking forward to the ending.
