Above the Summit: Down with the Scheming Yanderes

A taboo, morally fraught relationship between an uncle-in-law and his nephew's wife, with intense emotional push and pull. Almost every female character has a complete story arc, and the protagonist isn't blinded by love. A slow burn.

[Chapters 1–17 cover the heroine's tragic childhood. If you want to skip the buildup, jump straight to Chapter 18.]

[The political intrigue begins in Chapter 32.]

[The “exciting” parts often come with quotation marks.]

After helping my prince and lover ascend the throne, he made me empress.

I abandoned my husband and child and returned to my homeland in a single stroke. I will take back everything that belongs to me!
