A shipment escorted by Guan Qiuxiong, an escort guard of the Longtian Escort Agency, was completely robbed by the bandit chief Luo Hugang, known as the Tiger King, while passing through Camel Cliff Mountain. With the Thirteenth Prince’s backing, the Longtian Escort Agency felt deeply humiliated and was certainly not going to let the matter go. When the Sixth Prince, who had a deep grudge against Luo Hugang, heard what had happened, he followed the scheme of his advisor, Qian Bagua, and used a ploy called “using another’s knife to kill,” hoping to wipe out Camel Cliff Mountain with the Thirteenth Prince’s help.
Outnumbered, Luo Hugang was defeated and took his own life. Amid the chaos of battle, Guan Qiuxiong couldn’t bring himself to kill Luo Hugang’s young son. He adopted the boy into the escort agency, named him Shou’er, and took him on as a disciple. Years later, Guan Qiuxiong’s son, Guan Heng, and Shou’er both fell in love with Mu Rou, the Sixth Prince’s daughter. As Shou’er gradually learns the truth about his origins, what choice will he make? A tale of love, hate, and tangled passions is about to unfold…
