749 Fired Me? I'll Start a Demon-God Agency Instead

This book is also known as: New Tales of Chinese Spirits and Monsters, When a Mouse Falls for a Cat, That's So Li Pu, and I'm Not a Demon God

[Story-driven] [No face-slapping] [Light main plot] [Stories take center stage]

I'm not human!

Uh...

Or rather, I'm no longer entirely human.

My name is Yao Shen.

I used to be human,

but an accidental transmigration turned me from pureblood into a mixed breed.

Of course, none of that matters.

What matters is that a thousand kinds of monsters from Chinese folk legends all appear in this book.

And this poor little human-demon, oh, no, I mean little demon-human, has to find among them the little benefactor who saved me a thousand years ago.

Three thousand years ago, this airhead saved me when I was on the verge of death. Unfortunately, that blockhead thought a human and a demon couldn't fall in love, so he spent his whole life doing good deeds to be with me.

He only wanted to tell the King of Hell that he wanted to be reborn as a demon in his next life.

The King of Hell was moved by his devotion. The two became sworn brothers and drank until they were thoroughly muddled, but in the end, my little benefactor still drank Granny Meng's milk,

and was reborn as a demon in the modern world three thousand years later.

There was no helping it. For the sake of this so-called romance between a human and a demon,

this poor creature, who could have become an immortal,

had to hide my identity and suppress my cultivation, working nine to five at the renowned Bureau 749

to look for my little benefactor. But just as I found a lead, the Bureau 749 fired me...

[This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance is purely coincidental. But every spirit and monster is based on historical records.]
