“I’m not marrying you.”

Then their fathers threw them into a dating show to help them develop feelings for each other. So they didn’t have feelings? Keep dating, and they’d get some.

After his first blind date failed, Xu Yi’an launched into a passionate campaign to win Huo Huaizhi over on the dating show.

“Can I ask you out?”

“Who would go on a date with a pig?”

Xu Yi’an stared at the strawberry tart twice the usual size in front of him, lost in thought. Was Huo Huaizhi really not the one who arranged this?

When the other contestants asked how things were going between them, Xu Yi’an said awkwardly,

“We’re not even friends on WeChat yet.”

Then one day, he discovered that the WeChat account he’d tried to add countless times was quietly sitting in his contacts.

“I think we’ve gotten a little closer.”

“Who gave you that idea?”

Then the stubborn guy quietly helped him deal with his awful father and even made arrangements for the grandmother Xu Yi’an had always worried about.

“Huo Huaizhi, I like you more than anyone.”

“...”

The stubborn guy was secretly thrilled, and held his wife tighter than anyone else.
