I Turned Dark After Seeing Through the God of War’s Scheme

[Two male leads + bottom’s point of view + transmigrate into a book + System + “double black” rivals who fall in love]

A secretly scheming, sweet-faced God of War x a corrupted little white flower

-

Lin Xichan, who loves reading cultivation novels, accidentally transmigrates into an unfamiliar fantasy novel and becomes its male lead, who shares his name.

Just as he’s getting ready to put his “knowledge” to use and make a name for himself in this world, he discovers that a System has been bound to him. But the System is useless at everything except making him fall in love with the God of War!

Absurd. Absolutely absurd!

Lin Xichan flicks his sleeve, about to cry, throw a tantrum, and threaten to hang himself, when his “love interest” comes looking for him of their own accord. One look at that face, and Lin Xichan’s face-loving side goes into overdrive!

System: See? You’ve fallen for him already!

But things aren’t as simple as they appear. The longer Lin Xichan spends with the other person, the more he realizes something is wrong.

Lin Xichan: System, are you sure this can all be solved by falling in love? You’re not lying to me, are you?

System: If I’m lying, may heaven strike me with lightning!

Lin Xichan: It really did strike! Wait, why did it hit me?!

System: Sorry about that. I’m attached to your spiritual consciousness.

How come I’m the one who gets struck when you’re the one making the oath?

So Lin Xichan outwardly obeys the System while secretly searching for clues. In the end, he really does uncover the noble God of War’s hidden, sinister intentions. The other person seems to be helping him, but is actually using his life to survive a heavenly tribulation. And when it comes to Lin Xichan’s feelings, he treats him as nothing more than a way to pass the time.

Lin Xichan: Well, if that’s the case, what are we waiting for? Time to turn dark and fight back!
