The story begins when Sima Zhong Xiang enters the underworld in a dream and judges Han Xin, Peng Yue, and Yingbu to be reincarnated as Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Quan, dividing the Han Dynasty into three parts, and ends with Zhuge Liang's death of illness, the destruction of the Three Kingdoms, and Sima's proclaimed emperor. It already has the main plot of "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and has the color of folklore. Excerpting the political and military struggles between Wei, Shu and Wu, the tendency to support Liu and oppose Cao is extremely clear.
