Meanwhile, Daxia’s Antarctic research team accidentally discovers a pyramid deep beneath the Antarctic ice: the ruins of an ancient star gate. Liu Yun leads Daxia’s scientific elite to investigate and discovers that the star gate is an outpost, a fortress that once defended Earth. The other end leads to the planet Beken in the Pegasus Galaxy, a world whose surface is entirely covered in water but is suitable for human habitation. The lost civilization of Atlantis lies dormant beneath those waters.
Liu Yun leads Daxia’s scientific team and a small military force through the Antarctic star gate to Atlantis, where they acquire ancient technology and equipment. In later battles against the Hunters among the stars, they gradually turn the tide and eventually drive the Hunters out of the Milky Way, establishing effective control over it. Thanks to humanity’s subsequent development, by 2100 they have built the Destiny and placed star gates throughout the planetary systems, embarking on a journey to explore the origins of the universe! Liu Yun is convinced that higher civilizations exist beyond the universe!
