Strange Tales from the Village

One evening, Liu Xiaojun encountered a ghost by the river in front of his village. From then on, his life was turned upside down.

Liu Xiaojun's grandfather suddenly died and became a zombie.

Many dried corpses were dug up beside his grandfather's grave.

By a bridge, he encountered strange creatures with pig heads and human bodies, and human heads and pig bodies.

A gigantic, five-meter-long centipede, its whole body golden, had teeth that could split a person in two.

Packs of wild wolves attacked the village and carried off children.

There were also flying lizards that could breathe fire.

The protagonist, Liu Xiaojun, eventually became a Taoist priest, but his master turned into a zombie, and so on and so forth.

I know the traditional title I chose isn't very good, but the story itself is enough to make your eyes light up. It's coherent and has a strong narrative.

The main goal of this book is to adapt it into a movie or TV series, as well as short-form dramas.

The content is thrilling but compliant, and not gory.
