Love Came Too Late

Just because my fiancee was convinced I had slapped her childhood sweetheart, she abandoned me overseas and ignored me.

I had no money in a foreign country and suffered humiliation after humiliation.

Only three years later did she finally remember me.

But the first thing she did when she saw me was demand that I apologize to her childhood sweetheart for what happened three years ago.

This time, I didn't try to explain.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Lin."

Satisfied, she finally nodded and agreed to marry me.

But I was strangely calm.

Because there was no future for us anymore.
