[No System] [No Harem] [Traditional Xuanhuan] [Decisive and Ruthless] [Progression] [Humble Origins] [Savior] [A World of Great Harmony]
A god who seeks justice chooses to be reborn in the mortal world. He cultivates anew as a human, hoping to sever the source of the meridian path and build a Ninth World without gods.
This story unfolds in a world where meridian power reigns supreme. It arose from the fierce battles between the ancient humans and the demon race.
After countless grueling battles, humanity was saved from extinction only with the arrival of eight highly accomplished Meridian Lords.
The eight Meridian Lords eventually ascended to the immortal realm, but they left the source of the meridian path in the mortal world. As meridian power evolved, it became an insurmountable divide between ordinary people and those who possessed it.
With no new threats to face for a time, people began using their meridian power to climb to positions of authority and enjoy wealth and privilege.
The great kingdoms ruled over countless meridian cultivators and most of the world's resources. They grew extravagantly wasteful, launching massive construction projects and raising taxes to sustain their life of luxury.
Little did they know that those in power are shortsighted and incapable of planning for the future, and that dynasties rise and fall in an endless cycle.
A new crisis is already drawing near, quietly and unnoticed…
In this upheaval, unprecedented in a thousand years, will the demon race return once more, or will wars between the dynasties continue to spread?
Can this immortal, fallen into the mortal world, change everything? Only time will tell…
