Cutting the Patron to Favor the Boss's Nepotistic Little Sister

The day before the year-end performance review, my boss called me in for a talk.

He said my commission was too high and was hurting team unity.

He suggested I share it with the new girl, a friend of someone important.

I said, "Sure, no problem."

That very night, my boss received cancellation notices for more than 300 apartments.

He told me to hurry up and beg the buyers to reconsider.

I laughed and replied, "No thanks. I wouldn't want to hurt team unity."
