Chronicles of the Hundredfold Refined Immortal

No female lead, though women do appear. Kill when necessary, and cut ties when necessary. The protagonist is scheming and somewhat ruthless, with a touch of villainy. After all, this is just a novel, so don't take it too seriously.

A cultivation story following the path from Qi Refining to Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Nascent Soul, Deity Transformation, and ascension.

Long Tao is an orphan. By chance, he discovers an ancient cultivator's cave dwelling, gains a chance at immortality, and embarks on the path of cultivation.
