Chaihu Riverside

I was born in a small town called Daluo on the border of China and Myanmar, only 2 kilometers away from Xiaomengla in Myanmar. During the dry season, I spent all day fishing and catching shrimps in the Lancang River, which made me good at water since I was a child. Compared with the dry season, I prefer the rainy season here. One second it is cloudless, and the next second the sky becomes dark, and big raindrops hit the banana leaves, making a rustling sound. Daluo means "a ferry crossing where many ethnic groups live together". My father is from the Jingpo ethnic group and is good at wielding two swords. When he was young, he once dreamed of being a knight. On the night before he went to the end of the world with his sword, he was beaten half to death by his old lady. My grandmother is from the Dai ethnic group, with a clear singing voice and graceful dancing.
