Zhaowu, the Eerie Immortal

You there, fellow Daoist reading this: if you have the courage to enter the game, then make your move!

“Please, kill me...”

The fools consumed by desire are the most pitiful sacrifices on this battlefield. Eternal life has never been in keeping with the laws of the Great Dao. For the faintest glimmer of heavenly opportunity, they bargain with evil spirits and ultimately become immortal, undying walking corpses.

Legend has it that hundreds of years ago, Ling Xiaozi, a master of celestial divination, prophesied that the gates of the ancient infernal prison would open, the evil gods would return to the mortal world, and evil spirits would run rampant. All life would be devastated, and heaven and earth would become a prison...

In his previous life, he practiced the bizarre path of immortal arts and ran rampant through the cultivation world. Wielding the power of the Unreturning, he silenced every sect. But rejected by the Heavenly Dao, he was hunted down by the heroes of the realm and killed, only to be reborn by chance in a strange world where people practiced occult arts.

Ever since that incident in Baiyan Village, everything seemed to change, as though an unseen hand had been manipulating this game of chess...

When the paths of cultivation and sorcery collide, who will command heaven and earth: the bizarre-path Immortal Venerable or the sorcerer of the demonic path?

Well-versed in the art of war, he sees heaven and earth as a game and holds the strategies of a million troops in his mind. As chaos sweeps across the land, can he use his own wisdom to help Zhaowu pacify the realm?

Watch the player at the board stir up the winds and clouds in a high-stakes tale of tight plotting, strategy, and deduction. No harem, no mindless action.

Fellow Daoist, it’s your move!
