Story Introduction: Shen Yi is a young, energetic paranormal photographer with an almost obsessive love of the mysterious supernatural world. He's cheerful and optimistic, occasionally chuunibyou and goofy, and fearless as he ventures into the paranormal. One day, he wanders into an abandoned site rumored to be haunted and eagerly begins exploring, unaware that danger is quietly closing in. Ye Lan, an heir to an ancient family of Celestial Masters, happens to pass by. He's handsome and aloof, sharp-tongued and cold, immensely capable, and surrounded by a mysterious aura. At a glance, Ye Lan can tell that Shen Yi has an extremely weak birth chart and is prone to attracting evil spirits. He warns him to stay away from dangerous places, but Shen Yi doesn't take him seriously. Drawn to Ye Lan's air of mystery, Shen Yi keeps asking about the supernatural and his identity. Ye Lan can't be bothered to answer and turns to leave. But Shen Yi shamelessly sticks close behind him, and Ye Lan, looking thoroughly disgusted, can't shake him off.
