A relaxing story about fishing and beachcombing. After working overtime for three straight months, programmer Li Lang is physically and mentally exhausted, so he quits and returns to his seaside hometown to recuperate. All he wants is to bask in the sun and catch a few small fish to pass the time. He never expects to get hooked after just one fishing trip.
On his first day out at sea, he catches two huge groupers. His mother beams with joy and prepares a lavish meal.
On his second day beachcombing, he digs up a basketful of giant scallops. His mother spends until nightfall cleaning them, muttering, "That's enough to last us a whole week."
On his third day out at sea, he somehow brings back a whole boatload of yellow croakers! His mother sees the seafood piled up in the kitchen, grabs a spatula, and chases after him. "That's enough! Have some self-control!"
But when the neighbors rush to buy his catch, his mother's eyes suddenly grow exceptionally warm. The only problem is, Li Lang notices that seafood never appears on his own dinner table again...
