"Zhan Yashan" shows people the precarious Zhao and Song Dynasty, how those with lofty ideals saved the dying country in the face of the powerful Jin Army and Yuan Army. Although Xin Qiji, Han Yuzhou, Li Tingzhi, and Wen Tianxiang stepped forward and fought bloody battles, they could not turn the tide. In 1276 AD, Emperor Gong of the Song Dynasty led hundreds of officials to surrender to the Yuan army, and Lin'an fell; in 1279 AD, when the Yuan army besieged Yashan, Lu Xiufu carried Emperor Bing of the Song Dynasty on his back and resolutely crossed the sea, and the Song Dynasty perished. The Battle of Yashan wrote the tragedy of the fall of the Zhao and Song Dynasties, and showed the last character of the Song Dynasty.
