Against the Current, I Become a Demon: Gu Immortal!

A thousand years after humanity established the Heavenly Court's order, ordinary people still suffer under exploitation, never knowing if they'll see the next day. Cultivation resources have been divided up layer by layer until none are left, and the cultivation path of low-level cultivators has all but come to an end. To realize his dream of a world of equal justice, Jiang Liu uses the Fish Leaping Over the Dragon Gate Gu to live a second life. Follow the way, and become an immortal or Buddha. Defy it, and become an evil demon. In this life, he has returned to turn the world upside down.
