Urban Cultivation: The Maoshan Arts

Behind the bustle and glamour of the city lie countless mysteries and dangers unknown to most. Our protagonist, Lin Yu, has studied Maoshan Taoist arts in the deep mountains with his grandfather since childhood.

Lin Yu's childhood had none of the toys and laughter other children enjoyed. Instead, he had his grandfather's strict lessons and the obscure manuals of Maoshan arts. The years passed slowly in the mountains, but Lin Yu never once let up, knowing the heavy responsibility he bore to carry on the tradition of Maoshan arts.

At last, when Lin Yu turned twenty, his grandfather decided he had learned enough and gave him permission to go down the mountain and hone his skills. Filled with anticipation and unease, Lin Yu stepped into the bustling, unfamiliar city.
