That summer, Zhang Yu's beloved younger brother, Zhang Ming, was accepted to Bayang Medical University in Sanquan City.
But as an impoverished village textile worker, she didn't have enough money to pay his tuition.
Liu Xionghao, her old deskmate from middle school, offered to lend her the money. In return, he wanted a set of swimsuit photos of Zhang Yu.
Every girl in Wenmeng Village had swimsuit photos of her own. Zhang Yu agreed...
Liu Xionghao tricked Zhang Yu, then kept harassing her over the photos.
She met a traveling doctor named Lin. To get away from Liu Xionghao, Zhang Yu accepted something from the mysterious woman.
Before long, everything seemed to be resolved.
And Zhang Yu wanted to live for herself, just once.
