A Warehouse Connecting Past and Present: I Picked Up an Empress for a Wife

Yang Chen is tricked by his girlfriend into becoming a distributor of herbal tea, losing all his savings and ending up tens of thousands in debt.

After his girlfriend breaks up with him, Yang Chen flies into a rage, only to discover by chance that his warehouse connects to another historical world.

He can't enter that world himself, but he can retrieve things from it.

As it happens, the fief of a young princess in that world is under attack by barbarians. The city has been besieged for three months, food and water are running short, and her father is gravely wounded and bedridden.

So Yang Chen supplies the princess with food and water, and helps her plan a way forward.

The princess thinks Yang Chen is a god and offers him all kinds of gold, silver, and jewels as worship.

With Yang Chen's help, the princess earns great military glory, becomes the empress of her country, and unifies the realm.

Meanwhile, Yang Chen uses the ancient gold and silver jewelry the princess gives him to become a billionaire.

Then one day, the princess, now an empress, confides her feelings to Yang Chen.

“I think you're very special. I want to see you...”
