The Heroine Makes Her Entrance, and the Extras Run for Their Lives

My best friend and I transmigrated into a xianxia novel. Other than being naturally beautiful, with looks that could make fish forget to swim and geese forget to fly, we were completely useless. The fairy maidens envied our looks and called us good-for-nothing pretty faces behind our backs. The day the heroine of the book ascended to heaven, I knew it was time for us to make a getaway. I reminded my best friend, “Pack your bags. We’re getting out of here. Grab a few extra things from the Heavenly Palace while you’re at it.” “Do you really think I need you to tell me that? I’ve already made off with the Supreme Lord Laozi’s alchemy furnace!”
