My Girlfriend Didn't Want to Marry Me, So I Turned Around and Married Someone Else

At our class reunion, my classmates teased me, asking, "When are you two getting married?"

I said, "The first of next month."

My girlfriend said we hadn't made plans yet.

After we both spoke at once, she glared at me in disgust and demanded, "When did I ever agree to marry you next month?"

She stormed off right there to celebrate her ten-year pact with the man she had always loved.

I knew she had no intention of marrying me.

So I didn't try to stop her.

I simply took out my phone and gave an order:

"The wedding goes ahead as planned."

After all, she wasn't the one I wanted to marry, either.
