Tales of Strange Happenings at the Taoist Temple

Xuanhuan fantasy | Transmigrate into a book | The moonlight heroine cultivates the Heartless Dao and tries to win over a dark-moonlight yandere villain | The early story focuses on a large ensemble cast. In a turbulent age, Taoist priests descend from the mountains; when peace returns, they retreat into the deep mountains. Daoist master Ling Ye meets Ling Ruomei and others through the opera-script adaptation of The Legend of Sword and Fairy IV, and they become friends in the martial world. Ling Ruomei cannot tell whether she likes Murong Ziying from the opera script or Ling Ye, the person playing him... Wherever people gather, there is a martial world. This is a story that unfolds beyond The Legend of Sword and Fairy. Ling Ruomei is framed, and everyone wants her dead. Just like Murong Ziying in the opera script, Ling Ye protects her once, but she chooses to defy convention. The story also borrows the voice of a storyteller to express Ling Ruomei’s regret over Ling Ye, echoing Murong Ziying’s regret that he did not reveal his feelings to Han Lingsha sooner and become her confidant earlier. Jiang Jiyue descends the mountain and stumbles into Baopu Taoist Temple. Guided by a mysterious jade pendant, she uncovers the story of Ling Ruomei in her previous life: young and unable to read people’s hearts, she was targeted by the great martial families, then saved. From that day on, she became fixated on the white-robed swordsman and Taoist priest. After many twists and turns, however, she must win over a yandere villain.
