This novel consists of two core parts:
1: At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the country faced the dual dilemma of internal and external troubles, and the society fell into turmoil. With the rise of peasant uprising forces and the pressing force of the Qing army, the rule of the Ming Dynasty collapsed.
2: At the same time, in the south, the royal members and civil and military officials of the Ming Dynasty did not succumb to fate. They successively established the Nanming regime and continued to mount tenacious resistance against the Qing army.
