Consort Hua Reborn: A Palace Dynasty's Fiery Rebirth

Consort Hua is reborn on the day of the selection at the prince's residence, having escaped a nightmare of the Cold Palace. Her former infatuation with the Emperor turns to hatred. Rather than compete for his favor, she uses her family's influence to investigate the conspiracy behind the Fragrant Joy incense, involving the Empress Dowager and the Emperor. Through clever tactics at family banquets and religious ceremonies, she pressures them, builds an intelligence network, and stirs up trouble amid the consorts' rivalries. She is no longer hostile toward Zhen Huan and the others. Neither the Emperor's attempts to win her back nor the Empress Dowager's efforts to suppress her can sway her. Though revenge brings one obstacle after another, and other consorts join forces against her, she uses her intelligence and courage to turn danger aside and allies with forces beyond the palace. As she uncovers more of the harem's dark secrets and discovers that her family's fortunes are tied to the Emperor's schemes, she joins court officials in triggering a political storm that leaves the Empress Dowager cornered. In the end, she achieves her revenge, rewrites her tragic fate, and becomes a legend of the inner palace.
