I Am Not the Backup Plan

[Infinite Flow + Feel-Good + Fragmented Stories + 1v1]

After defecting, Wen Yujie had no money and no job. To save her own life, she returned to her old line of work, only to unexpectedly run into the person she had loved from afar as a young girl.

Wen Yujie: Hey, cutie, want to exchange contact info?

Hua Yuanzhou: ...You are suspected of disrupting the balance of this instance. Come with me.

Wen Yujie: ...

Is this really my fault? They're just way too fragile, okay!

[Full Moon Fright Instance]

NPC: Hehehe, you'll make excellent ingredients.

Wen Yujie: Sorry to interrupt, but how much do you make?

NPC: Guys, can you believe this? I'm kind of offended.

[Jin'an Community Instance]

NPC: Do as I say, or none of you will survive.

Wen Yujie: With all that effort you put in, you must make a lot, right?

NPC: Could you shut up? Shut up!

[Good Baby Nursery Instance]

NPC: Naughty caregivers get eaten.

Wen Yujie: Mm-hmm. If you eat me, will you gain weight and get a pay raise?

NPC: ...

Wen Yujie has this to say: Asking about someone's salary can get 99% of broke people riled up. As for the other 1%, they're rich and can make a broke girl like me feel insecure.

The NPCs, driven half-mad by Wen Yujie's torment, held a midnight meeting:

Question: Is there any dignified way to teach this pain-in-the-neck a lesson?

In the darkness, a golden picture frame shimmered. The person in the painting chuckled:

There is, brother. There is.

Wen Yujie sat bolt upright in the middle of the night: Is there something wrong with the person in this painting? Why are they dragging me inside? Besides, I already have someone I like!
