[Rekindled romance, a long road to winning her back]
[A dazzling, clear-headed actress x an actor who seems flirtatious but is actually devoted]
Before marrying Ling Wenci, Qin Yilan thought he was just fun to be around.
She kept telling herself that love would grow with time, and that if she stuck around long enough, she could even warm a stone like Ling Wenci.
Just as she told herself that perseverance would eventually bring an answer, an unexpected visitor shattered all her fantasies.
Heartbroken, she found a lawyer and had a divorce agreement drafted.

Everyone knew that Ling Wenci and Qin Yilan’s marriage was a business arrangement, and that Ling Wenci didn’t love her.
When he brought home a pregnant woman, people became even more convinced that the couple’s divorce was all but certain.
*
A paparazzo broke the news: “Shocking! Famous actress and a certain award-winning actor suspected of marital trouble.”
As everyone speculated about who the couple could be,
Ling Wenci came online late at night, reposted the post, and commented: “Don’t make things up. I’m trying to win her back.”

During a livestream of a hugely popular observational variety show,
Ling Wenci was seen in a corner of the studio, eyes red as he held Qin Yilan. “Lanlan, do you still want me...”
The woman in his arms also had red eyes. She pushed him away forcefully, then hurried off.
The next day came the news that Qin Yilan had withdrawn from filming the show due to a scheduling conflict.
This made everyone even more certain that there was trouble between them.
Just when everyone thought the couple’s relationship would come to nothing,
a year later,
Ling Wenci posted a photo on social media of two large hands holding a tiny one.
The caption read: “We’re a family of three now~ @Qin Zhilan”
Not long after, Qin Yilan reposted it and commented: “Welcoming a new role in my life.”
The whole internet erupted.
It's super good-looking, not a scumbag plot, but the male protagonist doting on the female protagonist later in the story is very interesting 👍
