[Boy band competition + no romance in the main story + everyone’s favorite + beautiful, strong, and tragic + Produce 101-style] Since ancient times, beauties have been compared to famed generals, yet neither is allowed to grow old in this world. A legendary figure-skater on the verge of retirement takes on the role of promoter. An idol past his prime, dogged by scandals; a gifted singer whose talents have gone unrecognized; a creative genius who has been out of the spotlight for years; and a street-dance champion covered in injuries. When the mentor lineup for Tomorrow’s Idol was announced, it immediately sparked heated discussion. Many wondered what kind of boy band could possibly emerge under a panel of mentors like that. Years later, this season’s boy band would be hailed as the pinnacle of group talent competitions. They swept every music award as soon as they debuted, making them undeniable monster rookies. The relationships between the contestants and the five mentors from that season also became a favorite topic of conversation. This is not only a story about a group of boys chasing their dreams, but also about mentors rediscovering their own.
