Investiture of the Gods: I Become Emperor Xin from the Start

He wakes up to find that he has fused with Di Xin, the Human Emperor. This strange and perilous beginning plunges him straight into the turbulent Primordial World. It is the day of the ceremony before Nuwa Palace, an event that seems ordinary but conceals countless dangers.

In the original course of history, this ceremony would trigger a series of terrible consequences. If Di Xin were to compose an obscene poem, he would anger Saint Nuwa and doom the Shang dynasty’s eight hundred years of fortune. This would be more than a disaster for the dynasty: it would be a catastrophe for humanity. The incident would set off the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods, and humanity’s standing would plummet. There would be no more Human Emperor, only the title of Son of Heaven. From then on, humanity would lose control over its own fate, manipulated by the saints and the various powers.
