I Have a Sword Called Godslayer

[Urban superpowers, divine ranks, God-Slaying, not a God-Slaying fanfiction] Please don't read if this isn't your thing.

Blue Star, 3017 AD

This is a world filled with bloodshed and despair, a slaughterhouse where they amuse themselves, and an age of heroes whose deeds deserve to be sung for generations.

It is known as the Great Nirvana.

Those who survived in this world became playthings in a game between the gods.

Winning was one thing, but when the gods lost, it was the weak and desperate humans who died.

Every hundred years, they hold a final showdown on this land, known as the End. It is also a war between the gods.

To make the game more entertaining, they grant their divine power to these pitiful wretches, turning them into divine agents.

Their task is to face the gods a hundred years later. This is their playground, and their slaughterhouse.

For three thousand years, countless generations of heroes have defied the gods, sacrificing their lives and shedding their blood to break the cage in which the gods have imprisoned the world and secure a peaceful land for their descendants.

But sadly, no one has ever managed to break the world's shackles.

Until they arrived: the saviors, the Gemini Stars.
