Ye Luoli: A Journey Through Time and Space

This story features a substitute-lover complex. The protagonist both loves and hates the men he falls for. The dead lover and child mentioned in the chapter “Ye Youjin's Secrets and Worries” were killed by many Heavenly Daos. These Heavenly Daos belong to the Greater Worlds and the Divine Realm. The Heavenly Dao of a Greater World creates its smaller worlds. The protagonist manages every world, including the Divine Realm, and provides them with power. This responsibility cannot be entrusted to anyone else. If a Heavenly Dao dies, its world collapses. So after the protagonist's lover and child died, he could neither take revenge nor kill himself. Both the Ye Luoli world and the human world were created by the killer of his lover and child. They are like the killer's children, and the lives within them are like the killer's grandchildren. The protagonist therefore hates the lives in those worlds, but he will not kill them. He simply won't concern himself with how the worlds develop or with the conflicts between them.
