[Dark Fiction] [Horror Nursery Rhymes] [Collecting an Illustrated Compendium] [Hunting Evil]
There is another side to the world: the eerie things lurking in the darkness, which can corrupt anyone consumed by resentment.
After being betrayed by his girlfriend and drowned alongside a stranger, Zhang Yi comes back to life as a black cat, bound to the Fear System.
Judge evil. Fill in the compendium.
Recorder: A sound! A piercing sound, and a terrifying nursery rhyme. I saw it... It... it has so many eyes, all over its body!
[Compendium Entry: The Kitten Drowned in the Shadows]
[Reward: Compassionate Lament, Devour]
[Compassionate Lament: The dead man's wail, the living person's tremble. Crush their will and unleash fear.]
[Devour: "The Deep Dweller's stomach is like purgatory, capable of devouring everything in the world."]
A night cat that unleashes fear and spreads nursery rhymes begins devouring the world's evil and collecting entries in the compendium of fear.
It is an urban legend, and it is also the toy beside you.
[Compendium Entry: The Little Girl in the Vase Who Loves Nursery Rhymes]
[Compendium Entry: The Little Girl Who Sets Fires and Her Adorable Doll]
[Compendium Entry: The Little Sister Carrying a Doll]
[Compendium Entry: The Deranged Painter Who Has Lost All His Senses]
As one entry after another is filled in, a cat born in the dead of night dons the crown of the Shadow King's heir.
If there were only one sound in the world, I would want it to be fear.
[When fear comes, you will find a night cat walking through the darkness. That is me, the collector of the Horror Compendium.]
