A chance car accident brings two childhood acquaintances back together.
Jing Si is delighted to discover that, despite the age gap between them, they’re in the same class at the same school.
As they spend more time together, Jing Si realizes that Bi Ran is no longer as innocent as he was as a child. The closer they grow, the more Jing Si discovers the side of Bi Ran that nobody else knows.
Later, Jing Si realizes that he seems able to control the course of this world, but only when it comes to Bi Ran.
At the end of the story…
“Dreaming about him again?”
“Yeah.”
“Is he still asleep?”
“Will he ever wake up?”
“He hasn’t woken up since the person who hit him left. Maybe… there’s someone he wants to see in his dreams.”
